The Digital Volunteer Development Project (DVP) focuses on cultivating a community of digitally-minded individuals who are interested in volunteering. These volunteers play a pivotal role in assisting and advising on important initiatives undertaken by the Ministry within various communities, as well as promoting the correct use of digital technologies.

A comprehensive three-day, two-night training program has been established under the title "Digital Volunteer Training." Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate recognizing them as "Digital Volunteers," enabling them to serve as representatives of the Ministry in assisting the public with digital literacy and usage.

Furthermore, the Ministry has developed an application titled "Digital Volunteer" to enhance the operational efficiency of digital volunteers. This application serves as a valuable resource for self-directed learning and knowledge expansion in areas of interest. Users can access various functions within the application, including:

• Organizing volunteer activities
• Staying updated on volunteer-related news
• Following official government announcements
• Accessing knowledge on digital literacy and other subjects
• Identifying fake news
• Checking weather conditions
• Monitoring lottery results
• Utilizing government services
• And more
